You can not only read about the 19th century using 21st century technology, with one year (12 issues) of online Chronicle of the Old West you can also have access to the previous six months issues.
You will have download access to the current issue of Chronicle of the Old West up to two weeks prior to subscribers who receive their copy through the mail.
This requires that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader - a browser plugin. Acrobat Reader is a free download from Adobe, and well worth having as it will read and print documents which were created on other platforms. Each page can be opened and printed by clicking on the appropriate link, provided you have already installed Reader. If the pages do not display or print correctly from within your browser, try right-clicking on the file and selecting "save as." This will save a copy of the file to your hard disk, where you can open and print it with Reader--this usually works, regardless of the browser.
In addition, you will have one year’s access to the daily and weekly radio shows one week after they are aired on the Chronicle of the Old West Radio Network. This is approximately 260 daily shows and 52 weekly shows.
We will e-mail you the link and your log-in name and password.
