This week’s show begins a bit unusual as we begin with a conversation with two members of a Mariachi Band. Mariachi music was a part of the early Southwest Spanish Rancho life.

This year is the 100 anniversary of the birth of John Wayne. Dakota talks to Chris Enss about her new book “The Young Duke.”

Bill O’Neal sets the history books straight as he talks about the first Thanksgiving that was held in…El Paso, Texas.

Our music this week is by Jim Bowman and we also have some terrific Mariachi music.
