In the Old West cowboys used ropes made of leather that were called reatas. Reatas are still made today, but it’s a dying craft…especially north of the border. We start this week’s show with a conversation with Dick Shore, one of the few people still making reatas.

Victorio was a great Indian Chief and gorilla fighter who came along at the end of the Apache wars. Dakota talks to Kathy Chamberlain who wrote a book about this man. (Picture is of Chief Victorio)

With Victorio and most of the people who we talk about no longer around, it is only appropriate for us to play Don Edwards' song “Coyotes.”
