We spent a weekend in Winterset, Iowa attending John Wayne's 100th birthday celebration. This week we're going to be sharing with you some of the conversations, the atmosphere, and the fun that we had during this time.
We'll be starting the show with a conversation with Melinda Wayne Munoz, John Wayne's daughter. As you will see, Melinda is a take-charge person. From the moment she picked up the microphone, things were out of Dakota's control.
Then the next conversation will be with Frank Candito who is an avid John Wayne fan. Frank came all the way from New Jersey.
A big part of the celebration was the Buffalo Bill Cody style Wild West Show. We were able to talk to one of the founders of the show who knew John Wayne.
All of this will be interspersed with some of the great patriotic presentations by John Wayne.
