While in South Dakota we went to a unique event outside of Wall called “The Artist’s Ride.” This week’s show takes place there.

We start with conversations with the “Boys from Illinois,” a group of mountain men re-enactors. Then we move to a group of men from Kansas who have the ability to dress in all styles of characters from the 1800’s and look the part.

We’re privileged to spend the second half of the show talking to Beverly Hawk a Lakota Indian. Beverly tells us about what it was like to be an Indian woman in the late 1800’s.
