Our regular, Bill O’Neal wrote a book about the great ranches of the 1800’s. When we were in Tombstone we had a chance to talk to Bill about the greatest of those ranches, the King Ranch. It’s not only an interesting story because of its origins, but that it is still going strong. (Picture is of Captain Richard King)

Although she wasn’t in Tombstone at the time, we gave Jan Cleere a phone call to talk about a Tombstone personality, Buckskin Frank Leslie. Here is a man who seemed to have a lot of political clout, but you sure wouldn’t want to cross him when he was drunk.

Our music this week is by Sons of the San Joaquin.
