Arizona’s official historian joins Dakota Livesay in a conversation about a couple of train robberies that took place in Arizona. It seems that the robbers of one of the trains disappeared without any trace. You’ll be intrigued to find out how it happened. (Picture is of a mock train robbery, courtesy Shadows of the Past.)

Dakota talks to Bill Lucy about one of the Old West’s most unique characters, John H. Slaughter. And, the conversation took place at the Slaughter Ranch outside of Douglas, Arizona.

Our music this week is by Dave Stamey.
